We'd love every pot to land perfectly, but if a piece isn't right for you, here's exactly what happens — kindly and without fuss.

Tell us
Email ObiPots26@gmail.com within 14 days of your pot arriving, with your order number and a line about what's not quite right. We'll reply quickly with the next steps.

Send it back safely
Pop the piece back in its original packaging if you still have it — it travelled to you in one piece, so it can travel home the same way. Return postage is on you unless the piece arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered.

We check it in
Once your pot is back in the shed, we'll give it a gentle once-over — it just needs to come back unused and as it left us.

Refund on its way
We refund the full price of the piece to your original payment method within 14 days of it arriving back. Postage costs are refunded too if the piece was faulty or not as described.
Every pot's situation
It arrived damaged or broken
Pottery and posties aren't always friends. If a piece arrives chipped, cracked or in pieces, email us within 48 hours with your order number and a photo or two of the piece and its packaging — then keep everything until we've sorted it, as the packaging helps with the claim. We'll refund you in full, including postage. Each piece is one of a kind, so we can't send an identical replacement — but we'll always refund you properly.
It's not what you ordered
If the wrong pot turned up at your door (rare, but pots have a sense of humour), email us within 14 days and we'll sort out a full refund — postage included — or a swap for something you'd rather have.
You changed your mind
That's fine too. Under UK distance-selling rules you have 14 days from delivery to tell us you'd like to return a piece, then a further 14 days to send it back. Return postage is at your cost, and the piece needs to come back unused and in the state it arrived.
The perfectly imperfect bit
Every Obi Pot is handmade, so tiny quirks — a thumbprint, a glaze drip, a slightly wonky rim — are part of the character, not a flaw, and aren't a reason for return. If a piece genuinely isn't right for you though, the normal returns above still apply. And if you're ever unsure whether something is a quirk or a problem, just email us a photo and we'll be honest with you.
